With over 2 million members in the United States, the Episopal Church, is set to become the largest religious organiation to bless gay marriages.

Other organizations may soon follow suit. On Friday, the Presbyterian Church narrowly rejected a proposal to redefine marriage as being between a man and a woman. As the 10th largest US denomination it can also be seen as a significant development.
