Pop singer and entertainer Olly Murs made the crowd go wild at G.A.Y in London last night, however, it was probably more to do with stripping that singing.
It turns out that the former X Factor contestant got a little steamy as he stripped down to a little cow posing pouch, after he lost a bet with the ever so slightly camp club night boss, Jeremy Joseph.
Back in December Olly set the bet that if his single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ went to number one in the charts, he’d come back to G.A.Y at London’s famous Heaven club and perform naked.
Well, his song topped the charts back then and true to his word, the cheeky lad stripped off. Ok, so it wasn’t exactly naked, but was as near as damn it and left little hidden from view. Oh and yes, he also kept his hat on!
Olly isn’t the first UK pop smash to whip it down to a birthday suit at the popular gay venue. Boy Band McFly also stripped down, going a wee bit further, stripping it all off in a surprise move.
“It’s a bit of fun, it’s great for the fans, the club goers, and it also guarantees a shed load of publicity for the performer” Gay writer Jason Shaw said today. “All credit to Olly for going through with the bet, he certainly showed his true colours” he added.
